Holiday Safety
Swimming Pool
Please ensure you know how deep the water is in all areas before you enter the water. Take care to ensure that the water is deep enough for diving - never dive in water less than 0.5 metres deep. Avoid swimming immediately after eating a meal or drinking alcohoL Take care around drainage channels and be aware of slippery and uneven surfaces. Check the suitability of the pool for your children, especially taking into account depth. Please supervise children in the swimming pool or around the swimming pool area.
Beach
If the beach has flags, ensure you are aware of their meaning and follow instructions. Be aware of depths, tides and currents by listening to local advice. Do not swim alone or at night. Swim along the shore but not out to sea. Never use lilos or other inflatables in the sea as they can easily be dragged out by the strong currents.
Fire
On arrival, familiarise yourself with the emergency exit routes. Read any safety information in your room. Make a note of the nearest extinguisher and how to raise the alarm in case of fire.
Balconies
Take extra care on balconies. Children should never be left unsupervised or allowed to climb on the furniture or railings. We suggest families with small children request ground floor rooms.
Child safety
Children playing in the sun should wear a T-shirt and hat as well as high factor sun Do not leave children unattended. Please take care of your children at all times.
